Most warehouse managers say they have real-time visibility.
Dashboards are live. Tasks are tracked. Systems update every few seconds.
From a system perspective, everything is visible.
But that’s not the same as understanding how the operation actually runs.
Because what drives performance doesn’t happen at the moment a task is recorded. It happens in between.
Waiting that isn’t logged. Congestion that builds gradually. Movement that slows before anything “breaks.”
The system shows clean transitions. The floor tells a different story.
That gap is what operational visibility is really about.
